What is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that you RSVP before September 19th, 2024, using the included response card with your invitation. Each invited guest’s name will be listed on the inner envelope.

Please indicate your meal selections with your initial if your party is selecting different entrees. Select a choice of Filet Mignon, Herb Marinated Chicken, or Vegetarian Phyllo Bundle Filled with Spinach, Mushrooms and Red Pepper Coulis, all served with Mashed Red Bliss Potatoes, Cipollini Onions and Broccolini and Baby Carrots.

Where should I stay for the weekend?

We have room blocks set up at both Hotel Indigo and The Alexandrian for our guests (check out our Travel & Stay page to access the links)! Both are located walking distance from local shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants. There are many charming & historic townhomes on AirBnB, too!

Transportation will be provided for those staying in Old Town. Buses leave promptly from Hotel Indigo and The Alexandrian at 4:20 p.m. Please arrive and board no later than 4:15 p.m.

Is there a dress code for the church/reception?

Our reception, immediately following the ceremony, is formal, black tie encouraged.  Dark suits and ties or tuxedos for men, floor-length gowns or tea-length dresses for the ladies.  And your dancing shoes!

Is there anything happening Friday night?

Yes! For those planning to be in town Friday night, we welcome friends and family to join us in starting the celebrations at a Welcome Party at Ada’s on the River from 8-10pm, hosted by Tom & Sarah Douglas. Casual cocktail attire.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception have parking.  First Baptist Church of Alexandria has parking lots on either side of the church. Belle Haven Country Club will provide valet parking for guests. Both are located within 10 minutes of the hotels, and 15 minutes from each other.
